Just Imagine:
A class of students actively engaged in reading & writing - and you with lots of free time on your hands. That's because you gave yourself a gift, one that will allow you to have the energy to focus on teaching rather than all of the prepping and planning you've been doing on your own time.
Â
You know that the surest way to foster a love of reading is to let your students choose their books. But you just aren’t sure how to hit the learning outcomes when everyone is reading a different one.Â
You’re spending hours trying to create lessons to help you do that, while you frantically search for mentor texts to use for those lessons. You think you’ve found the perfect one and then you realize that. . . no, it won’t work. You toss that book and grab another . . . and another.
Then you realize that you’ve spent so much time on reading standards that you haven’t done any writing in weeks. You figure out a way to fit a bit of it into tomorrow’s lesson, but when you look at the clock, you see that it’s already midnight, and you missed the chance (again) to do the things you wanted to do.
You manage to piece together enough lessons to fill the week, but when you get to Friday, you see them as a random patchwork that didn’t really come together as a whole. You worry that, yes, your students are reading books they like, but they aren’t getting the skills they need for success.Â
Not only that, but trying to keep everything organized is wearing you down. The thought of another weekend prepping and grading is enough to lock up your classroom library for good.
Please don’t. It doesn’t have to be that way. With a solid plan and scaffolded lessons that target skills, you can help your students hit all of the learning outcomes. And they can do this without you spending hours at your desk, ignoring the fact that you have a life.Â
With the resources that I offer you in the membership, you’ll have a solid plan to help you deliver a rigorous choice reading program to your students. Whether you do full reading workshop or just some independent reading, you’ll be able to hit your outcomes for reading and writing, and get your evenings and weekends back.

Which ROOM 213 resources come with the Membership?
As a member you will get access to over 100 resources you can use for reading and writing, plus any new ones that I create and add. There are also many resources that are exclusive to the membership.
The BEST part is that every month (except July) you get a new bundle of lessons and activities. These will either come all at once as a thematic unit or be sprinkled throughout the month as they are created.
You will also have access to the 33 monthly bundles from the last three years!
These bundles are meant to support, build on, and enhance the many resources and lesson in the membership already. Depending on the length of your classes, each one could be a unit that takes one to two weeks.
And you know what? Many of these bundles have been inspired by the needs of our members, so if there's something that's missing, you can just let me know! (Click to see some samples and here to see the list of bundles for the past three years - yes, you get those too!).

Kirby This membership is worth every penny. All of Jackie’s hard work gave me plenty of time to devote to other things throughout the year, all while executing flawless lessons. Â
Jyll: I've been interested in starting reading workshops for years, but the planning and management was so overwhelmingly daunting! Until this membership. It has everything a teacher could possibly need from beginning to end. It's full of adaptable, engaging lessons and resources, and a pacing guide that makes it easy - whether you're a beginning teacher or have been teaching for 10 years (like me)!  And to top it off, there's a community of teachers to share ideas or problem solve with and amazing monthly bundles. Really, check it out.
Dana: I love curriculum design. I'm good at it, but this year? With the myriad other pressures swirling around us, I took one look at this and knew that Jackie’s curriculum was the answer I needed to retool my materials for this new normal. Not only would it save me hours on the clock, it also served to enrich what I was doing. It’s like I paid for a bottle of wine to sit down with Jackie and do some planning together—albeit remotely! This is better than anything else I’ve ever seen published all in one space.
Danielle: I have used Jackie’s material from Room 213 for years! Everything she puts out is easy to use, functional, and student approved! So when she said she was doing a monthly bundle membership, I knew I was in! During this crazy time more than ever, having one less thing to worry about has really helped.Â
Allison:Â Jackie's membership is just incredible. It's like Christmas has come at once. My students have loved everything I've tried with them - they've really, really enjoyed this.
Mary Beth:Â What a tremendous resource this is! I found so many usable assignments and activities that enhanced my workshop in a way that really helped students dig deeper in terms of author's craft. I've loved being a part of this community.
